Geotextiles are widely used. In terms of specific applications, they mainly include:
1. It can be used as reinforcement in the backfill of retaining wall, or used to anchor the panel of retaining wall, and build wrapped retaining wall or bridge abutment.
2. The isolation layer between the road ballast and the subgrade, or the isolation layer between the subgrade and the soft foundation.
3. Highway (including temporary road), railway, embankment, earth-rock dam, airport, sports field and other projects are used to strengthen weak foundations.
4. Strengthen the flexible road surface, repair the cracks on the road, and prevent the reflection cracks on the road surface.

9. The filter layer of the initial upstream dam surface of the ash storage dam or tailings dam, and the filter layer of the drainage system in the backfill soil of the retaining wall.
10. The isolation layer of geotextiles between roads, airports, railway tracks and artificial rockfills and foundations.
11. Eliminate water seepage around the tunnel, reduce the external water pressure on the lining and seepage around the buildings.
12. Vertical or horizontal drainage inside the earth dam, buried in the soil to dissipate the pore water pressure.
13. Drainage behind the anti-seepage geomembrane in the earth dam or embankment or the lower part of the concrete armor.
14. Drainage of artificially filled sports field foundation.
15. Various water conservancy projects, including seawall, river embankment, and lake embankment compliance projects, reservoir reinforcement projects, reclamation projects, flood control and emergency rescue.
